ISSC releases Report on Sustainable Urbanisation Seminar


The International Social Science Council recently released a report on the “Sustainable Urbanisation — Transformations to Sustainability in Urban Contexts” seminar, which was held from November 2 – 8, 2014 in Taipei, Taiwan.  The seminar was taught by UGEC SSC Members Roberto Sanchez Rodriguez, Shu-Li Huang, Peter Marcotullio, and Darryn McEvoy.  UGEC Project Associates Sohail Ahmad, Aliyu Barau, and Yangfan Li also attended.

Call for Applications: ISSC World Social Science Fellows Seminar on Big Data


The International Social Science Council (ISSC) calls for applications from outstanding early career social scientists around the world to become World Social Science Fellows and participate in a seminar on Big Data in an Urban Context from November 30 to December 4, 2015 in Xiamen, China.

Deadline for Submission is August 24, 2015 at 00:00 GMT.
